One of us has Multiple Sclerosis and is a wheelchair user but still wants to get out and about, the other has Ankylosing Spondylitis and Cancer and struggles with mobility.

In the last few years we have found it difficult to research accessibility of venues like pubs, hotels etc.

Often we would arrive only to find that the disabled toilet was not suitable for a wheelchair user or it was lacking in the correct hand rails, thus making it impossible to enjoy the trip, or the bedrooms were not equipped for disabled people, the beds too high, no grab rails etc.

Doorways too narrow for a wheelchair, cleaning staff leaving trolleys in the corridor so you can't get past without shouting for help.

We could go on and on ...

In these strange times we have re-discovered our love of Arts and Crafts and have decided to share our quirky items with you all.

We hope that you like the idea and that you will add your reviews.

Thanks

from Wheely Friendly.
